This course studies the concepts and practices of operations management in manufacturing and services, with a focus on digital transformation. Students are equipped with an understanding of process design, capacity planning, supply chains, quality, and the utilization of digital technologies such as IoT, ERP, and analytics to enhance business efficiency and innovation. This course supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by discussing the use of digital technology to improve productivity, efficiency, and the development of sustainable operating systems and supply chains.
